An article at WOAI.com shows bacterial tests on lemons served in drinks at different restaurants in San Antonio. The results are disgusting! Doesn’t anyone wash their hands anymore?!?

Which Wich is open on Potranco Road finally! We stopped in today and had a great time - the staff was extremely helpful and very, very nice - it was a refreshing change to what we’re used to in this area. I like the business concept/model that they use - it’s almost too easy.

Another new restaurant coming!
(Wednesday, July 18, 2007) - Fast-casual sandwich franchise Earl of Sandwich announced today a development deal with Earl of San Antonio, LLC to open 12 restaurants in the San Antonio DMA. Earl of San Antonio, LLC is headed by hotelier and restaurateur Margaret Moreno. The first location is projected to open in October 2007 in San Antonio next to the HEB Plus store located at The Village at Blanco Shopping Center situated on 1160 North 1604. The second location is projected to open fall 2008 at Park North located at SEC 410 & Blanco. Earl of San Antonio, LLC plans on opening a restaurant every nine months.

Happy Birthday to a wonderful wife, mother, business and life partner - no matter what is going on in our lives or what comes our way, she’s always there.
It took me forever to find a birthday card. They’re getting really good these days, and there are always 5 or 10 or 20 that would be suitable. I didn’t get the .99 one, so I wouldn’t appear cheap, but I didn’t spend 4.99 on a musical giggly card either. I’ll have a cake ready later today, and have decided to not put the equivalent number of candles on there as tradition calls - the fire department is kinda far, and scorch marks wouldn’t bode so well with prospective home buyers. I do have 2-3 small extinguishers in the house, but I don’t know if they’ll be enough, or if we’d even be able to get to them on time before the raging blaze consumes us all!!
Ok, ok, I’m just kidding. Put the knife down, dear!
My wife is one of those women that looks beautiful no matter what time of day it is. I’m very lucky to have her in my life, and have dedicated my life to her and our incredible children. So here’s to you, my dear Paula - I’m happy and honored to be able to spend another celebration by your side. I love you.
