A group of students from Mater Dei HS in Evansville, IN competed in the 2008 Shell Eco-marathon Americas - and drove away with a new record for a vehicle than can get 2,843 mpg! Our two SUV’s can get maybe 20-25.

According to MySA.com, Emilio Navaira’s case has been classified as a DWI. Sad. I’m not an Emilio fan (or hater!) but he’s very popular in San Antonio. Not just with his fans, but with the police, according to his record!
Emilio was hospitalized after the tour bus HE was driving crashed on Loop 610 in Houston.
As my family sits here watching the latest edition of Extreme Makeover Home Edition, we’re also working on new recipes and meals for eating better. As we’re looking, I went to a great fitness site, Bodybuilding.com. Right on the front page - Ron Lester.
You might remember Ron from Varsity Blues. In December of 2000, he weighed 508 pounds! Today, he weighs an amazing 159 pounds! Read more about it here.

I found a new theme that looks great - I’m still working the kinks out with the embedded photo viewer, but I’ll work it out soon…
We met with a few other CD SA’rs at Rudy’s off 151 - we had a great time! A few went to Stockyards right after, to check out the new place.
A lot of fun, a lot of bbq, and cold beers. Great way to finish out the day after spending all morning at the Westcreek picnic.
