Cocoa Beach
We’re in Cocoa Beach for a few days, doing some work on Patrick AFB. I think I could move here - the place is incredible.
Luckily, our hotel is 2 seconds from the beach. We’re staying at the Hampton Inn. Great hotel, nice breakfasts in the morning, free high speed in the rooms, pool, etc etc. This is only my second trip here, and both times we’ve stayed at this hotel. Oh, and free cookies in the afternoon!
I did notice that there are a lot of small businesses in this area, nestled in between all the large hotel buildings. I’m curious about the small biz success rate, and what it takes to survive in an area like this. But then, there’s always contract work on the air base…..
