Microsoft is a juggernaut. One of their newest offerings:

A composite of photos is analyzed by their software for similarities, and then a reconstructed in a 3D space. You can span and rotate, view from different angles, different source pictures, etc etc. Screen real estate will no longer be an issue! But I still want my large LCD…
